Cardinals and bishops have not yet examined the case, with everything postponed until after the summer. The outcome of the discussions will be presented to the Pope who will ultimately decide. Francis has shown his appreciation for the work carried out by Ruini’s commission.

Jesus and Mary’s Little Stars
In 1998, during the Youth Festival, in Melinda Dumitrescu’s heart was born the desire for a project that she decided to start in 2013, breaking off from the Sons of the Devine Love Community. The project is called “Jesus and Mary’s Little Stars”. It absorbs young musicians and artists manning to be an Evangelization’s instrument through the beauty of music and art, all based on prayers, sacraments and chastity’s commitment. The Jesus and Mary’s Little Stars enliven prayer encounters all over the world, offering concerts and evangelization shows, by combining classic and sacred music, dance and acting. In the first year of the project, Jesus and Mary’s Little Stars have produced concerts, enlivening prayer’s meetings in several countries like Italy, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany, Austria, Romania and South Korea.

Special Envoy of the Holy See named for Medjugorje
On February 11, 2017, the Holy Father entrusted Archbishop Henryk Hoser, S.A.C., bishop of Warsaw-Prague (Poland), to go to Medjugorje as Special Envoy of the Holy See. The mission has the aim of acquiring a deeper knowledge of the pastoral situation there and above all, of the needs of the faithful who go there in pilgrimage, and on the basis of this, to suggest possible pastoral initiatives for the future. The mission will therefore have an exclusively pastoral character. Archbishop Hoser, who will continue to exercise his role as bishop of Warsaw-Prague, is expected to finish his mandate as Special Envoy by summer of this year.

The “Cenacolo” Community was born in Saluzzo (a small town in Cuneo’s county of Piedmont, Italy) on July, 1983, thanks to the intuition of a consecrated woman, sister Elvira Petrozzi. During those years many other communities were born in Italy and in the rest of the world. The first fraternity to be opened abroad was the one in Medjugorje (1991), hosting today about a hundred young men. In Medjugorje there is also a female fraternity. On October 16, 2009, Mother Elvira received from Cardinal Stanisław Ryłko, President of Lay People Pontifical Council, the pontifical approval Decree for the Community, as an International Faithfull Association.
